Proposed FAA Rules Would Allow Aerial Real Estate Photography

The Federal Aviation Administration recently issued a set of proposed rules for unmanned aerial systems that would enable the use of drone photography for real estate nationwide.  Under the proposed rules, the aircraft operator would need to pass an aeronautical knowledge test, Obtain an unmanned aircraft operator certificate and abide by a set of safety standards with every flight.  When these proposed rules go into effect, Sacramento Real Estate Photographers will be first in line to obtain the proper certifications so that we can provide you with aerial real estate photography for your listings!   You can read the proposed rules here:
